What Sam said!!!

Not only "Welcome back" but "Congratulations!" I am 68 years old and just starting to get to know who I am this time around. I am curious to know how you went about conducting your inquiry into self-identification.

Hope to hear from you more.

Love, Susie

Oh my, it's been too long! Thank you for asking, Alexis. I have been reading and following the family's journeys, I've just been really pushed for time to write. I do apologize.

Things are going pretty well and I'll write in some more detail later, and hopefully start writing again regularly when things calm down a bit. I've been travelling in order to tie up some loose ends and it's taken me literally months more than I imagined. I'm now back in my beloved Tokyo and enjoying the last sultry days of summer.

I hope everyone is well!

Good afternoon dear Secret Tiger. Bright blessings to you.

You have utterly made my day. You wonderful man. I am delighted that you are well and coping, that you are where you want to be, that you have chosen to share that with us all.

To miss another, there is a reason why one does so. I imagine it is different for each and everyone "what they miss", i know for me, just you. Only you.

Great to hear from you. You are a magical human bod indeed.

Be peaceful be healthy and be strong. Loveness to you dear Secret Tiger.

That's so kind, thank you!

Sadly, I've had to step away from work I was involved in regarding refugees and other things like that. My own family has to come first and they've been living without me for a long time. I've been hearing heartbreaking stories, but when I call my kids and they're crying because "daddy is in a dangerous place" I couldn't do it any more. Hence I'm back home.

I'm now pursuing my other passions - teaching and being creative.

Helping people is brilliant, and I'm finding other ways of doing it without literally putting myself in the line of fire. What I find the saddest is that the places I've been to and the people I've met are beautiful. They're suffering because of greed. Greed for power, money or whatever. I'll never take up arms to fight these urges. But I can continue to spread a message of hope and kindness.

Let's face it, we all benefit from both!

And that's what always brings me back here - the hope and kindness you all share. It means more than I can say.

ST, You are an inspiration! I need to get back to doing something altruistic. We all have to take breaks for personal needs, families, knees, making a living, etc. You'll get back to it one day. For now, we are glad to have you back with us.

So nice to hear from you, SecretTiger. It sounds like you're doing well, and that's great to see.

Self-preservation (for the sake of ourselves and our loved ones) can be so vital for balance. I have a friend of a friend who was in South Sudan with Doctors Without Borders for a couple of years. He's not a doctor, but a volunteer. He is in rehab now. We have to use the oxygen mask ourselves before helping the others on the plane...

Anyway. Glad to see you around, and hope you'll continue to check in and hang out. We've missed you!

Good afternoon dearest Secret Tiger. Bright blessings to you.

Orrr should i share a Grrrrrrr with you?

It was not that long ago that i could find Secret Tiger waiting for me each morning when i came "downstairs" and into this family. Always at my breakfast table. And here you are back from your travels in to mayhem, troubles, wobbles, wibbles and darn right life being the wondrous common denominator. My brother your soul could not drip, drip away. It is all you are.

You taught me stuff you would not recognise. Please keep writing. I followed your purity when you wrote like a straight road.

Lovely to hear from you, i want to give you a mahousive hug.

Be peaceful, be healthy and be strong. Loveness to you dearest Secret Tiger.

Good morning dearest Secret Tiger. Bright blessings to you.

I was out with my dog Rolo this morning. It was probably the first really "crisp" morning of Autumn here in my dear ole Blighty.

The sun was only just waking up and still rubbing her eyes, when a shimmer of light fell across the short and " wet white grass"....the spiders webs suddenly apparent to all prey, their webs almost like priceless works of art in a gallery on display, so many were they.

And i thought of you.

Drop us a line when you can.

Be peaceful, be healthy and be strong. Loveness to you dearest Secret Tiger

Thanks again, everyone. Sorry to be away so often.

I've been taking some time out to reflect and work on the next steps in my life. I think I've spent too long wanting to "make a difference" while ignoring the fact that I'm making a difference every day - to my kids and my family.

I've had my own business before and wanted it again, although I can't put my finger on why. Also, as much as I hate admitting it, I wanted 'stuff' - the big house, the nice clothes, the cool car, the money, the prestige...

Weirdly, this goes against all my instincts and beliefs. So I'm going back to where I came from and living simply. All I need is to provide for my family. Everything else is a want, not a need. I'm not saying it's wrong to want things, as that's what makes us human. I just prefer to live a simple, minimal life. It keeps my mind clear and keeps me focused.

Not sure where I'm going with this, so I'll stop there!

I hope everybody is happy, peaceful and healthy. Take care.

Good afternoon dearest Secret Tiger! Bright blessings to you.

Well, you certainly know how to makes someones day!

So, so very good to hear from you.

Re how you choose to go on your way, i suppose all of us who get old and ugly enough will have had many influences cross our paths. When they have, what impact they have had upon us often dictates pathways forward that do not hold the contentment and wonderment one is looking for.

The biggest influence we all have is ourselves. Empowerment is to follow our hearts. And as dear ole Winnie the Pooh once said, "to listen to all the things we can not hear".

Big hug to you on your journey.

Be peaceful, be healthy and be strong. Loveness to you dearest Secret Tiger

Secret Tiger, Good to hear from you! What are you struggling with? SA secret shared is a secret cut in half. Tell us more about what has been going on. Yes you see people in the world that have to deal with so much more than most of us. A gratitude list sometimes gets me out of the dumps. Have a great day.

Thanks for your messages, I appreciate them a lot.

I've been dealing with depression, some physical problems and work-related issues, and I can happily say they're well on the way to being solved. I'll admit I did drink on a few occasions, and knew that it does more harm.

I'm starting work that I enjoy and that will also give me some free time, so I'm very happy and content. I often do gratitude lists and remind myself that I have a lot to be thankful for.

I hope everyone is well.

Good morning dearest Secret Tiger. Huge bright blessings to you!

You know what they say my brother?......you wait for AGES for Christmas to turn up........and then 3 come at once!

To see you and I Am Trying sharing at he same time, truly a glorious day.

I too wish you did not have the battle of depression and the associated nightmares attached, and for sure gratitude lists keep our eyes open, opening our hearts to ourselves can be more challenging.

I hope the work you are starting which you enjoy will be a way of reaching those dark places with confidence.

Be peaceful, be healthy and be strong. Loveness to you dearest Secret Tiger
