Default step 4

I don't go to n/a meetings because I didn't like the
atmosphere. however their literature is wonderful
help..I've been working step 4 whilst being hospitalized
for some infections...and I've got to say it really gets
to the bottom of issues...sometimes the questions are
difficult, but totally worth it...it makes clear where ones
personal addict behavior sprouted.
so if you're feeling like I felt about the meetings ....check out
their website. everything is available for download ..and
hopefully someone will get as much insight as I have.
it would be wonderful to have a sponser but for now
its the best advice on myself I could find.
just thought id share the heads up.

In the beginning of the stepworking guide, there's a quote. It says, "The only wrong way to work the steps is alone"
Just saying.
Try different meetings.
Best,
J

Good quote..but for now it has to be alone...not to many
people hang at the hospital watching me get blood transfusions
and o2.
something is better than nothing.
once I'm healthy ill look in other directions.
alone is difficult ...but for now this forum is the best thing
to keep me going.
take care...and seriously, thanks for the quote

Well the writing part can certainly be alone. I just meant when you get to step 5....well....you'd have a hard time doing that one alone.
It's also really good to get another persons perspective once you've finished a step. I understand that being in the hospital makes it hard, especially since you haven't connected in the rooms. I just wanted to encourage you to try different meetings if you didn't like the atmosphere in the one you went to. There are some meetings I don't like, either. Just takes a little time to find where you fit.
Best,
J
