Talking Need a suboxone doctor in virginia that accepts medicaid insurance..

I hope that someone can help me. I am located in Virginia. I need a suboxone doctor in virginia that accepts medicaid. I am really having a rough time. I do not want to take methadone, I have done that. I have also done suboxone, but had to go to jail, and lost my spot, now the doctor that I was going to does not accept medicaid. I hope that someone can help me find a doctor in Va.that takes medicaid.

Hi Desperatelyseeking, welcome. Did you see this thread on how to find a doctor?

Have you contacted your medicaid provider to see if they can help you? You might also want to contact methadone clinics and ask if they also have Suboxone there. A growing number of clinics offer both now. Some people have contacted hospital referral lines to find help, others have asked their pharmacists since they fill scripts all the time.

Those are a few things to try.
