I just read your first post on this thread... Thank you for that story! And Congratulations! I am sitting here recollecting on my last visit with whiskey... only a short 2 weeks ago tonight. I was very mad at him! I have broken up with him so many times in my life, and like my other toxic relationships, I kept letting him back in because he had a way of making me smile, or so I thought that was a good thing. These last 2 weeks have been life changing, and I thank everyone here and ask you all to take the credit.

Your story is propelling me forward...

Thank you for adding yourself to my world reasons I believe I can succeed!

I have decided to attend meetings for 90 days, every single day.

I am a glad alcoholic. Thank you for the support!

See ya soon

Hi Ashwin, and welcome. Ok, so my nicotine problem is not quite as bad as yours, but I feel soo good about kicking the alcohol for 10 days now, that I think that will be next on the list when comfortable.

Check my thread, I'm at the AA, in therapy and trying to save a marriage.
