Tryn, I am good. Living life on life's terms. The 24th was my oldest daughter's birthday. Denise is 48. She lives closest to me only 6 miles. It has been a year since I have had contact with her. She wants me out of her life. I hurts of course but if I can be the best father by staying away then I will do that.

I am sober today & that is most important. Without sobriety I am nothing. So today I am grateful to be alive, sober & have my family here.

Thanks Tryn.

From all of us, I'm sure. You are so giving and supportive of all of us....yet so unwilling to burden us with your troubles. Hope all is well.

Love Susie

Thanks Susie. We all have burdens. I must be willing to accept mine. If not I will drink again.

Have a great Easter.

Good afternoon my dear R Lee. Bright blessings to you.

I read what you said to our dearest Susie.

Yes my dearest R Lee, we have to give it away to keep it. For you, last "Sept". I hope i have got my facts right.

Jeeezee i hope i am doing the right thing...here goes.

Got to give it away to keep it...set it free eh what?...You mean hurt....or maybe love?....set the bird free from its cage and it will come back?.....You mean even if it doesn't....it did not want to?

It is ok not to be good with that. It is ok to be R Lee, not a mentor to us all. It is ok to be hurting, it is something, now, someone can come to you, and say to you........

Now listen young man. Have you any idea the space in you.....you are neglecting because of the hurting you are experiencing? Do you realise the strength that you are sooo...ohhh....so used to providing.....is ebbing away from you because of your hurting?

The execution of empty spaces is not the way.

As our dearest Susie, as i am, FILLING those empty spaces. You must my dear R Lee.

You have to connect with what you are.....now....right now.

I "get" as much as you sobriety.....yet please R Lee,..........goalposts for jumpers and whatnot.......think outside the box now.

I want your heart to be happy. I am not feeling it.

What can we do?

Be peaceful, be healthy and be strong. Loveness to you my dear R Lee

Tryn it is a phrase we use in recovery. We have to give away the message that has been so freely given to us. I have to be there for the alcoholic who still suffers.

I am not going to dwell on what is going on in my life. I have let you all know what is going on. Everyone has issues & mine are no worse than others. I have to let go of the negativity in my life & move on, so that is what I am trying to do. Believe me if it is too much I will come here & share.
