Cool Drugs and Alcohol

How do I take the edge off, after not drinking for 3 days? I am going to AA, and have been drinking everyday for the last several month...But it's driving me up the wall...

Get plenty of sleep and food. Hang out with other people WHO AREN'T DRINKING, (if you don't have anyone to hang with who don't drink, try a crowded movie theater, a bookstore, more AA meetings). Stay away from feelings of anger. Eventually, these feelings will go away. Best of luck to you!

Default Welcome Juanzip !

Hello Juanzip ,
Welcome to the forum, glad you are here. Congratulations on stopping, be proud of yourself! : )

It is advised to see a medical professional when you stop alcohol for your health/well being. There are things you can do, go back and read the posts from others who have stopped, but seing a doctor or clinic is advised.

Hopefully ,you have made it through the worst part, dave gave you great feedback and you are going to meetings so you have suport there. Have you asked anyone in the meetings? I think they will have many suggestions.
Keep us posted on how you are doing again Congrats ! Take care, Carly
