ty you guys
Day 24 is coming to an end… The weekend approaches, (I have Sunday & Monday's off)

The weekend always makes me a touch nervous…Altho, the weekends have been a breeze really…It is more the anticipation of the weekend that makes me nervous… Twas always my play time & I drank more than the rest of the week…
I had a really busy week at work & I had something REALLY piss me off last night…I am pretty even keeled, but my business bank messed up something yesterday & it was a good test for me…well I obviously didn't drink…but the thought came to mind, I just pushed that thought away…
My body feels better from over 3 weeks of no alcohol, I see & feel the changes & that is what I concentrate on… the positive
My mind is tired from work, I'll probably check in tomorrow

Have a great weekend all,
Sassy

As Saint said, you thought through that first drink instead of you "pushed that thought away...."

Congratulations! It really is empowering. We're with you.

Good afternoon Sassy Ras. Bright blessings to you.

Oh goodness you have made me smile so widely! How wonderful you are enjoying your choices and are aware of how you are feeling. I always find it useful to "check in on myself" during the day. A min or 2, "how am i feeling?". Dont change, be aware. Being aware will make change happen under its own steam.

And thank you!....you have a peaceful, positive weekend too.

Be Peaceful, be healthy and keep focused. Loveness to you Sassy Ras

Dear Sassy,

We haven't heard from you lately. I hope is all well.

You know that regardless of what you're dealing with, it is easier with a little help from your friends. We don't just share the good times; we share the struggles and the bad times.

Let us hear from you.

Love, Susie

Sassyras,
Hope you are well. It has been awhile since anyone has heard from you... and then we worry. I
Should you have relapsed know that it can be a part of your journey to lasting sobriety. We learn from what works for us and what doesn't. The important thing ithat is to dust yourself off and get back to work. I know well the negative thoughts that come with relapse. Don't give in to them. You are to important. We miss you.
